NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RE:  The Council of the Municipality of the County of Inverness is considering adopting a Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law regulating the construction and placement of large and small scale wind turbines.  These policy documents would apply to the entire County.  Existing planning documents covering the planning areas within the County would remain in effect and be considered secondary planning strategies.

WHEN: Monday, February 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Court House, Port Hood

Copies of the draft policy documents may be inspected by interested persons at the Inverness County offices in the Courthouse in Port Hood or at the Eastern District Planning Commission office at 32 Paint Street, Unit 4, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. The plan documents are also available on the Planning Commission website at www.edpc.ca
